Lia Zinngrebe is an architect and urban
planner engaged in
public space, mobility, and participation with urbanista.ch in Zurich. She completed her architectural studies
focusing on urban planning in Münster and Weimar. Within her master's thesis, she founded the
participatory project HerCity Weimar, where she
examined the local urban space from a gender-sensitive perspective. Her professional journey has
encompassed roles in urban design firms across Germany and Denmark, including Gehl Architects in Copenhagen. Lia is committed to a people-first
approach, emphasizing data-driven and need-oriented methodologies. She has shared her expertise on
inclusive urban planning through lectures and panel discussions.
